Youth Teams- What County Cups Should We Enter?

Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA have a number of County Cups for teams affiliated to Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA to enter, including the Sheffield & Hallamshire Saturday Senior Cup which is the 4th oldest surviving cup competition in the world!


For season 24/25 County Cup entries will be completed separately to affiliation. For support in doing this please Click Here.


It is important to consider if entering a Youth Cup Competition is appropriate for your team and there current level of development- it is an open draw and teams may be drawn against team from higher divisions.

FAQs


Do our youth teams have to enter a cup?

No, the Youth Cup Competitions are optional competitions.  


Can we play up a year to enter? For example can our U12s enter the U13s Cup. 

No, only teams with U13s or U16s age group can enter the relevant competitions. 


We play out of County in a League that plays on a different day to that of the competitions, can we enter? 

No, only teams competing on the day of competition are eligible to enter. 


Boys Youth Cup Competitions are for Sunday teams only.

Girls Youth Cup Competitions are for Saturday teams only.


Can our boys team enter the girls cup, or girls team enter the boys cup?

No, as per the cup rules.
