What Do I Need to Do Once I've Completed the Referee Course?

Congratulations on completing your referee course!

You are now registered for the current season as a Trainee Referee (Level T).

Once you have completed and recorded a minimum of five matches, you will progress to:

Level 7 Referee, or
Youth Referee, if you are under the age of 16.

Referee Registration

Your referee registration fee for your first season is included within your course fee, and Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA will complete your registration on your behalf.

From your second season onwards, you will need to:

Re-register as a referee through the Whole Game System.
Pay the annual referee registration fee (currently £30).

Referee registrations usually open in June each year, and we will communicate this to you in advance.
