Safeguarding for Committee Members

ALL mandatory club officials are required to hold this qualification. (Chair Person, Secretary, Treasurer and Club Welfare Officer).

Children and young people depend on the adults in their club, to create a safe and fun environment, where they can grow in confidence, make friends and develop their skills and potential.

This course will support you, as a committee member, to identify your individual and collective responsibility in safeguarding, so as a team you create an environment where the wellbeing of children and young people (under 18s) is central to all that you do.
