Safeguarding Affiliation Requirements for Clubs With Youth Teams:



For our junior clubs the mandatory Safeguarding requirements are:


All people in a position of trust role, e.g. manager, coaches, physios', First Aiders or anyone who has regular contact with U18 players requires an FA enhanced DBS and must have the Safeguarding Children Course


All junior clubs must have a named Club Welfare Officer who has an FA enhanced DBS, a Safeguarding Children Course, Safeguarding for Committee Members qualification and has taken the FA Welfare Officer Course


All junior club committee members must have the Safeguarding for Committee Members Qualification


All junior teams must have a named manager/coach.
