Clubs are be able to purchase both their Public Liability Insurance as well as their Personal Accident Insurance as opposed to in previous years where clubs were required to source their own Personal Accident Insurance and upload it in to Whole Game System.
What Personal Accident Insurance can we purchase?
This year we are offering a variety of personal insurance packages for clubs to select from for each specific team at your club. before choosing your cover it is important to consider the following information.
Protect Your Players, Protect Your Team: The Importance of Higher TTD Limits in Your PA Insurance
Playing for a local football team remains a great way to stay active, have fun, and bond with teammates. But what happens you get injured during a game and can't work? For amateur teams with self-employed players, Temporary Total Disability (TTD) benefit can be vital. There might not be enough to cover the bills while you’re on the sidelines.
Here's why considering a higher TTD weekly limit might be a smart move:
Peace of mind for your players: If a self-employed player suffers an injury that prevents them from working, a higher TTD benefit can help offset lost income while they recover. This financial security allows them to focus on getting healthy and returning to the pitch quicker.
Attract and retain top talent: Knowing they'll be financially supported in case of injury can be a major draw for self-employed players. A higher TTD limit demonstrates your team's commitment to its players' well-being.
No one wants to pay for cover they don’t need but we have found when clubs speak to players, sometimes their circumstances means they are happy to pay a small amount extra in subs to ensure that should the worst happen, it wont have a significant effect.

Why Purchase Through Us?
By purchasing your Personal Accident Insurance and Public Liability insurance through SHCFA, you are able to automate your affiliation, meaning it can automatically be approved without a review from a County FA member of staff. Making for a quicker and simpler affiliation for you.
Can we purchase our own?
Yes, as in previous years if you choose to source your own cover, you can upload your proof of insurance into the club portal. However, this will then not allow you affiliate using the automated process and will require County FA staff to manually check and approve your affiliation.
