What is Affiliation?

Affiliation is the process of registering your club with Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA for the new season. It allows your club to participate in affiliated football and confirms:

The teams your club will be running
Your club officers and team officials
Key information required to support and govern your club

Why Affiliate?

Affiliation acts as a quality assurance process and helps protect players, clubs, officials and volunteers throughout the game.

Benefits of affiliation include:

Being officially affiliated to Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA, the world's oldest County FA
Eligibility to participate in County Cup competitions
Access to discipline, safeguarding and Respect support
Funding opportunities
Advice and support from County FA and FA staff
Access to The FA welfare programme
Access to communications, resources and development opportunities
The ability to purchase public liability and personal accident insurance

How Much Does it Cost?

The current affiliation fees are:

Junior Team: £26 per team
Adult Team: £36.50 per team

Insurance and other products will be paid separately. All clubs are required to have Public Liability Insurance Cover and Personal Accident Insurance.

How to Affiliate

Affiliation is completed through the Clubs Portal and is no longer managed through the Whole Game System.
